Bongwater--Too Much Sleep (again, it's that good)

Mudhoney--Superfuzz Bigmuff

on vinyl, kids.....

also some Santana, from Moonflower, I think, "She's Not There" (Zombies cover) and some other stuff.  ALex Ligertwood on vox, I'm pretty sure, so I think it was {i]Moonflower[/i]-era.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

Not my fave by them (that's The Royal Scam), but a damn good album.  Strong throughout.

Tommy Bolin-"Teaser"
Grateful Dead-"Weather Report Suite"

What a cool Tommy Bolin song.  Haven't heard that one in years.  Good stuff.  That's also a pretty good Dead selection,  "Let It Grow" was always a good closer for a first set.

E.L.O._Ole(vinyl)...featuring "Showdown"

John Stewart-"Gold"(v.)

That is the coolest ELO song ever, even better than "Fire On High".  All other ELO sucks, at least after Jeff Lynne took control of the band.   "Don't Bring Me Down"---puh-leaze!  "Showdown" is played in the movie "Vanilla Sky" during a really cool scene, as is the Rolling Stones song "Heaven".  That John Stewart has Stevie Nicks doing backing vox on it.  I had that record pre-Straight, got it for my birthday from somebody.

That's the 1st time I ever heard of Tommy Bolin.  Good tune.

One of my favorite G.D. suites, that Weather Report.  I got it on a cassette boot too,5/19/74, Memorial Coliseum, Portland OR. Also got it on Dicks Picks, volume 14, Boston Music Hall, 11/30/73 and 12/2/73.  Seen 'em close a few first sets with "Let It Grow" alright.

I thought that sounded like Stevie Nicks.

I like E.L.O.

Today I been playin:

Taj Mahal:

"Stagger Lee"
"Dust My Broom"
"Take This Hammer"
"Blues With A Feeling"
"Big Legged Mamas Are Back In Style Again"

Jethro Tull_Aqualung and
Too Old to Rock 'N' Roll, Too Young to Die(both on vinyl)

Grand Funk_Survival(v.)

Rolling Stones_Goats Head Soup(Vinyl)

On Deck:

Rolling Stones_Sucking In The 70s(also on vinyl)
