Played with some heavy metal guitarist this week in Mississippi....and down loaded Frigid Pinks, House of the Rising Sun.....Had the song down in an hour and they thought it was a new song.....I think that song was recorded in 1968....any how we jammed the hell out of it ....and they are gonna make it in one of there sets.....go figure.

The most popular version was recorded by The Animals in 1964, but the authorship of "The House of the Rising Sun" is uncertain:
