Been listening to Kate Bush's "The hounds of love" NRBQ's "scraps",and a really old,scratchy Root Boy Slim LP
 I been thinking about learning the fiddle part from "The jig of life" it seems like a ballbuster,to me its cool that the song goes from Irish music to a dervish/eastern kind of style..

I obviously had no idea there was a band called H.P. Lovecraft.

Root Boy Slim used to play the Marble Bar a lot; wish I had gotten to see him... Balto people have plenty of stories about him though..lol.

You play fiddle? I tried, but went back to frets and keys...

I REALLY MISS a joint in balto called nacho mamas,i thnk it was on pratt, gits my belly rumblin just thinkin about it .I play in a wacko rockabilly band called Vato-Billy .We only play out 6-7 times a year. I play fiddle , mando[my 1st love] bass, guitar and a host of other shit .Root WAS the shit, GREAT humor in that band ........
