Anybody heard that pop song with the lyrics "They tried to make me go to rehab I said no no no......"?  Great stuff, sounds like it coulda been a pop hit from the mid 60s, except for the lyrical content.  Like if Mary Wells had openly embraced the drug culture...... My new favorite song.

Yeah, that's Amy Winehouse... I saw her on Letterman before I started hearing "Rehab" on the radio....
She's foxy, but I can't say I like her album that much... that song's ok, though.

Thanks for the info, there, Frod.  It's one of those tunes that I'm sure I'll get sick of in a week or so,  or 5000 listens, whichever comes first.

Listenin to NPR this afternoon.  Heard some of the excerpts from some recently discovered Stephen Stills demo tapes from 1969, which have just been released.  Some of the songs on it were:

"Helplessly Hoping"(such a great song)
"Suite Judy Blue Eyes"
"Wooden Ships"

I got "The Thistle and Shamrock" on right now, which is the traditional Irish music show hosted by NPR every Sunday night at 7pm

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

Can't wait to see Heaven And Hell (Sabbath with RJ Dio on vox), Alice Cooper, and Queensryche when they come to Florida in September.  The 14th they'll be in Tampa, it's a Friday night, and the 16th they'll be in Orlando.  Hoping for a Jax show, too, but haven't heard anything.  I'll definitely be at the Tampa show, maybe Orlando, too, and if they play Jacksonville, I may attend due to it's proximity (hate that fucking town, though.........but I have some friends that are still living there, and they will probably want to see the show, too, so it's within the realm of possibility.....)
