That's great...I was looking at the cover of the CD and I thought about posting it, too.

I'm thinking about changing my user name to Vileness Fats, although I think Isabelle Zehnder has a better claim to it than I do...

That's pretty funny........

BTW, I had a chance to see the film, Whatever Happened To Vileness Fats? a few years ago courtesy of a friend who had done some graphic design work for UWEB and The Residents.  Needless to say, it is damn weird.  A few other people, a couple of whom were tripping balls, watched it with us.  Later one of them said that he thought my Residents-knowing friend and I were members of "a drug and sex cult that has something to do with the Residents"--either it was centered around them, or they were members of it, too.  Apparently, he thought some questions I asked my friend during the movie were leading, scripted questions designed to reveal certain aspects of the cult to the other people present.  To this day, I don't think he realizes how close he was to the truth........but enough about that for now.  Check it out sometime, it's fucking strange, but oddly charming, thought-provoking, and entertaining (remind you of anyone?) at the same time.

So anyway, I've been in some kind of classic rock hell today:

Alice Cooper--"My Stars", "Devil's Food", "Billion Dollar Babies", "Long Way To Go",  "Generation Landslide", "Dead Babies"

Judas Priest--"Better By You, Better Than Me" (cover of Spooky Tooth), "Beyond The Realms Of Death"

Black Sabbath--"Tomarrow's Dream"

The Who--"Run Run Run"

ZZ Top--"I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide"

Pink Floyd--"The Nile Song", "One Of These Days"

Deep Purple--"Hush", "Smoke On The Water"

Jethro Tull--"Sweet Dream", "Song For Jeffrey", "Nothing Is Easy", "Teacher"

UFO--"Lights Out", "Too Hot To Handle"  (sha la la la /roll you over/turn you 'round/and do it again..... )

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers--"The Night Watchman", "Breakdown"

Aerosmith--"Spaced", "S.O.S. (Too Bad)", "Uncle Salty", "Sick As A Dog"

Led Zeppelin--"Tangerine", "Gallows Pole", "Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp", "Boogie With Stu"

If i can find a copy of Whatever Happened To Vileness Fats?, I'll trip balls and watch it, too.  I'd like to think I was surrounded by drugs and sex cultists...

I'm down.   I'll try to think of scenes from the movie, if it's really good acid maybe you guys will see it ,too....

Haven't seen the Residents-knowing friend in about three years now (damn time flies) when he crashed on my couch for a couple of nights.  I hadn't seen him for a couple of years before that.  He used to be into all kinds of weird shit, it was great fun to go to his house, smoke copious amounts of grass, and watch him do his show-and-tell routine regardinghis latest weirdo project, some of which were quite profitable to young slackewrs such as ourselves, and some that were just weird.  My fave was the Nativity scene (he kept Xmas lights up inside year-round, some framing the nude oil painting of the black chick with the afro hairdo lying naked on a zebra skin rug--but only broke out the Nativity scene during the holidays) with an interracial, gay Ken doll knock-off couple in place of Mary and Josef, an evil Barbie angel over top, and Skeletor, Mr. T, and some weird robot bringing the baby Jesus,  who was portrayed by an octopus, gits of condoms, astroglide, valium, marijuana, and pills.`  My friend would get really pissed if you tried to take any of Jesus's pills before Xmas.  I was so impressed that I made him a tree ornament with a picture of Charles Manson on it.  He really liked it, but his girlfriend made him place Charlie on the back of the tree, facing the wall.

Blue Oyster Cult--"Baby Ice Dog", "Transmaniacon MC"

Georgia Satellites--"All Over But The Crying" ( great song, nowhere near as popular as "Keep Your Hands To Yourself", but it couldn't get sold as a novelty record like the other one was  I like these guys, they were great roots rock and roll when noone else was doing it. )

Black Sabbath--"Lady Evil"

The Black Angels--Passover, "The First VIetnamese War", "Black Grease", "Better Off Alone", "Manipulation", "Winter '68" (this is my new favorite band)

Minutemen--Double Nickels On The Dime  (our band could be your life.....)

Bardo Pond--"Despite The Roar", "Precious Metal"

I really, really like Cal Tjader.

Stopped into the downtown Salvation Army store the other day, and was lookin through the vinyl, when I seen Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond Quartet and Cal Tjader.  That's the name of the record.  Self-titled I guess.  So that's what it is; all 3 playin together.  I brought it home and put the speaker in the window and listened to it while I worked in the garden and drank some coronas.  I recognized Cals' vibes as soon as they kicked on.  He's bad.  Really diggin Cal Tjader.  Another killer score at the Salvation Army store!

I can't find any dates anywhere on the record or the cover so I don't know what year it's from.

Here are the songs though:

At a Perfume Counter

Purple Moon

and Jazz Latino.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.
