Reading over the info on Chinese reeducation schools, I couldn't help but wonder if the architects of the Seed had documents from these schools in front of them when sketching and refining their designs. The similarities are so striking that coincidence is highly unlikely. Does anyone know the backgrounds of the Seed's chief architects, and whether or not there is any truth to my hypothesis?

That would be an excellent question for Greg over on the Seed forum.  He was trying to find a tangible tie between Synanon and Art Barker.  Same thing there, the similarities are startling but don't think they've found the smoking gun.

I found this posted quite a while ago and thought it was profound. I had forgotten a lot of the rules and the crazy reasons why they made us follow them. I am not the original poster. However I am grateful that the guy from Atlanta had such a photographic memory. I was a prisoner at the springfield location.
