im pretty well convinced our time in e 4 was contrived. after the riots,, they had an empty house, they convienatly  allowewd a film crew in to film e/5,,alot if not most went to 4.. then we went tight,, and stayed tight, right after they fired the cook. i imagine that running a house tight is a lot cheaper than running a normal house. and , except for small periods of down time,, we stayed tight the whole time, if i recall, we were tight till we left and they closed that house for good. where is mah mary jane?????

(at the time 15/female, shingle/s.o.d.)

Me: Marty may I use the bathroom?

marty: No

Me: Um...can I use it after clean and deal?

marty: Come knock....

Smoking blast /week long shot down/ scrub toilets immediately

AND I DIDN'T EVEN OVER SHOOT! I RAISED MY HAND AND HE ANSWERED IT.

It was fun scrubbing toilets when I had to pee like there was no tomorrow. And peole were coming in and out of the bathroom the whole time peeing. He told my sp to make sure I didn't use the bathroom. This was around lunch time. I actually got to pee when we went to the dorms at 10:30 pm.

He was a great man.

I suppose I shouldn't have REACTED by asking if I could use it after clean and deal. Man I was such a rotten kid.

Diane Schriver - 100% I positively remember you well. You and ??? Lenny Burube ?? Were always in trouble for your lovers contract and I was always secretly in love with you! We were in Parsonsfield Hell together - seems like we were always in the shot down status together. You never had shoelaces, and had the sexiest shuffle - long dark hair, hazel eyes and a pretty pout. Been 3 decades or more by now - wow. If you ever read this - please please contact me!!! Kevin@neuvisioninc.com Would love to talk with you.

I remember you Dianne. This is Joice, We were in E'lan 4 together. Remember Theresa Ramos, Abby Torrez, Lisa Hartman?????? Gary Brandon? Kevin Hicks, all those people. Fucken Peter McCann. Always being on a tight house. The sleep deprivation??? Being woke up to clean trash that staff threw downstairs and while we were down there cleaning it they were tearing up the upstairs. Go to bed just to wake up in the morning to do the same shit again? I never thought i would hear of e'lan again. Tried so hard to forget it. I hope you remember me. I was the one always getting in trouble. Always shot down. I was the department head of the laundrey crew and then I let Nannette Walls split. We played softball together. Would be nice to hear from you.

My name is Joicelyn Baer. I would like to say how glad I am that E'lan has finally closed it's doors forever. I was in E'lan 4 in 1977. Was discharged then BROUGHT BACK AGAIN!!!@@^&*)_. I remember a lot of people from back then that I will never forget. I do not wish to forget them. There is an unspoken bond with the people that went through what we all went through together. We are survivors. If anyone remembers me drop me a line. Would love to hear from you
