Sounds like they just *forgot* and moved on.

Well I don't want to take that road, because maybe posting here draws attention that we are not aware of. People who make laws or counselors possibly even employed by a program such as Straight, People who are in positions to make a change... Maybe we are making a diffrence. And of course there are actual activist here who physically do the leg work to protect children from this happening more. 30,000 posts on this board alone speaks for itself.

See I am not here for my own pain persay, I am here for all the children who went after me and are going through this now. I am here so others can validate themselves and make some sense of their lives.

I am here ~ with people who help me make sense. People who I knew in Straight, people I cared about and wondered and worried about for the last 20 yrs. I am here to do my part in giving US a voice.

To say those are not valid or healthy reasons is absurd. To invalidate us who post relivent information here is abusive in itself. We are the people who are refusing to "keep the ways of these programs a secret". We are the people who relinquished the RULES Straight forced us to believe. We woke up from your nightmare  :exclaim:

If this board "represents" survivors and is something for law makers to ponder over then all credibility got shot to hell with posts like "i just"

Just go and read Betty Semblers deposition and you shall see why it is so important that NO ONE EVER FORGET WHAT THEY DID TO US, it's now posted in the "Betty Sembler Deposition" heading the whole thing is there in PDF format

Sammie don't take much stock into what this person is saying. Apparently the anon has the mind frame of a 3rd grader and can't articulate the words to say he likes you so he resorts to speaking about your anatomy. You're half-right, Antigen. The number of people against that wonderful expression of freedom and love for cannabis, the "I just" thread, is dwindling, but the number of people loyal to the philosophy espoused there continues to 'grow'...... :smokin:
