ANON: if these kids are at Whitmore now, and there are no classes going on undoubtable, and the Sudweeks say "they are out of the teen help business" then what are kids doing at the Whitmore now ANYWAY?

Ummm ... because their parents don't want them to come home?

But why?

If this is an academic program, why can't the kids go home for the summer?  

I don't get it. What's there to do at the Whitmore all summer?  Sit at a computer and post on Fornits?

That's pitiful. At least let the kid go stay with a relative or a friend.  What's the harm in that?

A kid ran to DCFS and "claimed abuse?" Do believe a full investigation substaintiated this boy's abuse, and CHARGES were filed against Cheryl Sudweeks. That goes beyond a "claim" of abuse!
