Thanks for making our experience feel so trivial. How would you know what my experience was? I guess some find abusing teenage girls funny and righteous in the name of God. I guess some find abusing someone as a great way of bringing someone closer to the good Lord above. At least that is what they believed at the Rebekah I went to and if someone didn't believe that way they just turned their back to the abuse and ignored it.

I attended VCA for three years and would have rather spent three years in the wilderness at Brat Camp.  I did harder work at VCA than anything I saw on Brat Camp.  I also didn't see anyone being forced to practice a religion they didn't believe in.  I could go on, but nah.

I like Ligers too...I think of myself as a leelee that's a cross between a liger and a lioness.
I'm not sure why anyone would compare one of these places to the next.I don't know anything about either VCA or Brat camp but I think all of these places should be closed down.All of these places can be evil and destructive to a young persons life.

It's not a competition about what experience is worst; it's certainly no comparison.  ANY kind of abuse is wrong, regardless of the degree.  It also depends on how the individual reacts and is affected by that abuse.  Anonymous - shame on you for comparing anyone's experiences.

Now thier marching in the freazing snow.  Thats  AWESOME!  If any of you were made to do that, you would have freaked out.  Heck, you guys complain cause you had to pick weeds and do the dishes.

"Oh mommie and daddy, I wanna come home, I'll be good, I promise."  Thats rich considering most of those kids were telling their perents to eff off a couple weeks earlier.

Define grown up for us. Does it mean vote, pay bills, grocery shop, have relationsips, etc.? Well I do all of this and more but I also talk about my childhood at times which isn't unusual for an adult to do. Your childhood is what defines you as an adult. We aren't all of a sudden grown ups and should forget everything that has happened to us up until this point in our life. We are talking (whining) about our childhoods. As children we had no choice no say in what most of our parents did with us but as grown ups we do. You are assuming a lot to think we were cussing our parents out or doing something bad to be sent to such places. You are also assuming we wanted to go home or that we were afraid of work or snow.

Assume makes an ass of u and me.
