poppa says LETS ROLL
« on: December 01, 2001, 05:54:39 PM »
He is looking forward to it. I am shooting for thursday night at my house. Tonight is the trial run, but i gotta do it later, around 9:30 after I get my daughter to bed.

my issues will be discussed tonight, and I want absolute prior approval of whom will be in on the discussion. I am also going to control the direction of this thing in order to protect my father. Absolutely no questions like " how could you"  or "didn't you realize you were raping minds", or any such type of thing.

The direction of this is going to be historical facts, procedural decisions, involvement of individuals, etc.  I will be asking the first several questions pertaining to the seed, we will move off of that onto the straight, and then open forum. Keep in mind the following:

1) He knows nothing of kids, safe, aaarc, or subsequent programs. His area of expertise will be with the Seed and the straight.

2) He lost contact with the whole thing somewhere around 1981, 1982 and only knows a little of what it became

3) He is an old man and he may not be johnny on the spot with some of the answers. However, he has a very acute memory and was on the "Inside" at both the seed St Pete and the straight.

So far, I would very much appreciate Ginger, Ken, Wes, Kathy, Scott involved.  Anyone else interested, email me or answer here. Sorry, but only a limited number of people will be allowed to participate, and I really want people I know and people whom have an understanding of the history of The program. Ginger, Where is Wes? Does he know about this?

I'm dying to find out if we knew any of the same people involved in Ft. Laud, my ex sister in law for example, or if he has any real clues as to how our family got involved. Also, I still wonder about Jack Slessinger... if he was related to Betty Slessinger.

Thanks for doing this, Greg. And tell your dad thanks in advance. It's a small gesture, but I can't tell you how much it means to me personally.
