DISMISSED!!! That is what Judge Turner said today. He found it incredulous that the court's time was being used to quibble over one day. He was not pleased that there was a case in Hillsborough County also. Joe Gonzalez was sharp and stuck to the point of law pointing out that Special Hearing Master in Tampa erred at the last hearing in Tampa because he did not follow the Marchman Act. Dr. McRae was there to testify if necessary and so was Lucy's court appointed attorney from earlier hearings. Judge Turner said that it was a waste of the court's time for Lucy's parents to be arguing about her course of treatment. Terry's deception that worked in Tampa the last time didn't fool the Judge who was annoyed at all the people Terry had there from Safe. Parrish, Beasley, Richardson, Jenette, Wanda and daughter were there I guess to "support" Parrish's statement that Denise went "ballistic" when she left the program. Of course she failed to mention that Wanda and Jenette were screaming like banshees prior to Denise leaving. That lady has a tough time with the truth.
Richardson told Dr. McRae when we were waiting for the elevator, "I hope you are there for her in six months when she really needs you." Like she's some expert having seen Lucy once for 15 minutes 15 months ago.
Afterward Lucy and I went over to the building to pick up her stuff. There is a new receptionist who has been there only three weeks. Betsy is gone. She was pleasantly non cooperative. Kept us waiting around until Parrish came back.
Got to see _______, when he walked into the reception area. I said Hi, _____. He seemed a little confused but did say hi. Hope he doesn't get set back.
(a former client), who is on staff now, came in and talked to Lucy. Asked her how she was doing. At least he is not afraid of them. Beasley, Macklin, Muller and several other clients were not as open to say hello to Lucy or me. Although (a client) did give me a small wave just enough to let me know she cared about us but she didn't want to get into trouble.
Then Parrish came out and told Lucy "The rules are not to give belongings back to clients who AWOL. They can only be given to a parent." I said I'm a parent, give them to me. At that point she changed the rule to only give them to Lucy's father.
That's it for now.

Alex
