: Is Jack Cassidy the former campaign chairman for General Alexander Haig when he was running for President in 1976? or 1980?
BTSOM. Now that would be something, but it's like when I told Alex that I'm beginning to see an Indian behind every tree. Anybody got the resources to check this out? Jack lives in Palm Beach, FL. Also Straight-St Pete had an assistant clinical director named Elizabeth Cassidy Gay. BTW, Senator Connie Mack and Congressman Mark Foley endorse GT brochures. Mickey Bowman's father is former Senator Thomas Lewis (later Congressman). Mickey's mother Marian V. Lewis is a former Florida state senator and former GT Advisory board member. I believe Linda Lewis was a high level HRS official in those days, but she does not seem to be into the West Palm Beach Lewis family. Speaking of Indians, Anna Abshire Bowman (who studied at the Uni of Hawaii) was the host home coordinator for Straight-NOVA. Also a Gary Bowman taught Dr. Newton his very first substance abuse seminar at the Johnson Institute in Minneapolis c. 1980. Incidently Mickey Bowman took over GT as Exec Dir and Clinical Director after Barbara Griffith left. I'm not sure whether she's still the clinical director.
I believe the following people are former GT board members: Janet R. Pezel, Ivan Goldberg, Jo Ann Endorf, Alan Menster and Kathy Foster.
