What Wesley Fager was saying is that Straight was sued all over the country for claims of imprisoning and abusing children or young adults. And that Robert DuPont was frequently called in as an expert witness on Straight's behalf. And that Straight was frequently investigated for alleged criminal activities all over the country, but that prosecutors had to contend with the fact that Straight is endorsed by many in the medical establishment as an appropriate and acceptable therapy, and that this medical acceptance of Straight originates with Robert DuPont.
